Our Adaptogens Bundle is built around the principle of securing and maintaining our health and strength in the face of all manner of stressors.  Unavoidable as they are, stressors will always intrude upon our lives; thus the ability to manage them, all the while staying in physical, mental, and spiritual balance, is the end goal of our gift of the following adaptogens:

1 - 1 oz Ashwagandha Root Liquid Extract - A well-rounded adaptogen, this herb is considered in ayurvedic medicine to increase life span, encourage greater healing capacity, strengthen the mind and body, and improve sexual prowess.  Supporting us through a host of conditions and illnesses (including: cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, anxiety, nervous exhaustion, insomnia, perimenopause, and fibromyalgia), Ashwagandha Root is an ally to lean on as we encounter the challenges of daily living.

Avoid if allergic to members of the Solanaceae family (nightshades).  Avoid during pregnancy.  Avoid with hyperthyroidism.  May increase the effect of barbiturates. Large doses may cause vomiting and diarrhea.  Do not use the powdered version of this herb if you suffer excess iron.

1 - 1 oz Holy Basil Leaf Liquid Extract -  Another herb believed to extend life, Holy Basil Leaf is highly revered as an herb that brings holiness to us.  Elevating our spirit, it lends itself to our sense of goodness, virtue, and joy.  It increases circulation to the brain to clarify our thoughts and improve our memory and may be used to support us when we suffer melancholy.

Avoid if trying to get pregnant or during pregnancy.  May speed up the elimination of some medication.  Avoid use in small children.

1 - 1 oz Lion's Mane Mushroom Liquid Extract- This functional wild food that has also been used as a medicine historically.  Lion's Mane supports nerve & cognitive health when taken as a nerve tonic.  In other words, it's great for the brain!

1 - 1 oz Schizandra Berry - This herb is protective of the liver, helping it to regenerate and increasing levels of the powerful liver antioxidant glutathione. It stimulates our performance mentally and physically at the same time that it calms our anxieties.  It supports the normalization of blood pressure and aids in training the focus of those with ADHD.
