Contains the following essential oils diluted in Sunflower Oil and Vitamin E Oil:
CHAMOMILE (ROMAN), Anthemis nobilis L, naturally farmed
A distressed stomach may have difficulty managing digestion. Nervousness, highly-spiced or overly-greasy foods, medications, or alcohol can slow the digestive process. Roman Chamomile essential oil is soothing to the stomach, gently encouraging digestion and helping to relieve any irritation, inflammation, or ulceration.
Tested at low dose, non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing. Avoid during early months of pregnancy.
GINGER, Zingiber officinale, organic
Ginger essential oil may be helpful in breaking up abdominal gas, relieving bloating, and reducing flatulence. Helping to settle the stomach, it may relieve nausea and vomiting, as well.
Tested at low dose non-toxic, possible irritant on sensitive skin.
FENNEL, Foeniculum vulgare, naturally farmed
Wanda Sellars, in her book The Directory of Essential Oils, writes: Fennel essential oil is "an excellent body cleanser, ridding the system of poisonous toxins resulting from excess food and alcohol. It is great for hangovers, acting as a tonic to the liver . . . Works well on stomach ailments since it is a tonic to the digestion. It eases indigestion when eating under stress by calming the nervous system. Good for hiccups, nausea, vomiting, and colic. A clearing action on the intestines helps to relieve constipation and flatulence."
Tested low dose non-toxic. Moderate use called for due to high phenolic content. Non-irritant, non-sensitizing. Avoid during pregnancy. Avoid with epilepsy.
PEPPERMINT, Mentha piperita, naturally farmed
Offering broad digestive support, Peppermint essential oil may assist with colic, dyspepsia, cramping, flatulence, nausea, the promotion of bile secretion, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Tested at low dose non-toxic, use diluted, possible sensitization. Avoid during pregnancy and lactation. Avoid in close contact with infants due to risk of spasm of the glottis.
