Our Comfrey Balm is a practical, useful, but also beautifying balm to the skin. Comfrey Leaf and Root, infused in Olive Oil, make this product especially moisturizing. Chapped lips, dry hands, rough cuticles, eczema, are eager recipients of the soothing, healing comfort of this balm - and I wouldn't hesitate to use it on facial wrinkles.
Tested at low dose, non-toxic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing.

In addition to its emollient effect on skin, Comfrey, along with essential oils of Yarrow, Carrot Seed, and Lavender, assists in healing wounds. Scrapes, shallow cuts, burns, insect bites, stings, and bruises respond to the healing power of the ingredients in this balm.
Comfrey's anti-inflammatory benefit allows for gentle massage of the balm into strained, sore muscles.
Scars respond to this product also, but take note: using this product during pregnancy or lactation is contraindicated. If concerned about stretch marks, please use our Comfrey Balm prior to pregnancy to moisturize, tone, and make supple the skin in an effort to prevent stretch marks; and after lactation, to address any scarring. External use only is advised. Contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids. Avoid during pregnancy or lactation. Avoid with a history of liver disease. Limit use to 4 - 6 weeks per year.
A soothing herb that softens the skin, and is used to heal bruises, pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, and osteoarthritis.
Yarrow
Helps heal wounds and is especially useful in treating burns and hemorrhoids.
Lavender
Promotes relaxation, reduces heart rate and blood pressure and helps with congestion. When used topically, it smooths the skin while helping heal minor cuts.
Carrot
High in antioxidants making it great for sensitive, dry, or mature skin. Antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties help treat skin irritations.

I got this specifically for my hands that had gotten so chapped from the severe cold weather. It is so healing. Even though it felt oily going on, it absorbed in and left my skin comforted. I ended up using it on my arms and legs also. I like that it's all natural and fresh.
