When eating a larger-than-usual meal or a particularly rich one, finish your dining experience with a warm cup of After Dinner Tea. The herbs in it combine to improve circulation to the digestive system, stimulate digestion, aid in the breakdown of fats and oils, relieve gas build up and spasms in the intestines, and to reduce headache and drowsiness that can result from being too full.
DILL SEED - helps break up gas.
FENNEL SEED - stimulates the appetite and digestion, settles the stomach reducing the likelihood of nausea, vomiting, and indigestion, and relieves hiccups, gas, and bloating.
BASIL LEAF (SWEET) - also stimulates the appetite and digestion and settles the stomach. Additionally, it helps remove "stagnant food" and aids the body in removing toxins stored in the fat.
PEPPERMINT LEAF - is an herb with several benefits to offer the digestive system. It stimulates digestion and helps reduce the possibility of food fermenting in the stomach. It helps relieve nausea and prevent heartburn, belching, hiccups, gas, and bloating. Overall, Peppermint leaf, by supporting digestion, may help prevent the headache and drowsiness that can occur when sluggish digestion meets a large meal.
SAFFLOWER FLOWER - has a very supportive effect on sluggish liver. Safflower flower also improves blood flow to the digestive system, thus aiding in stimulating appetite and digestion. It helps relieve gas, bloating, and heartburn.
CHAMOMILE FLOWER - helps ease digestive upset caused by stress.
SAGE LEAF - Easing conditions of gas, bloating, and indigestion, and assisting in the digestion of fats and oils, Sage leaf also helps encourage a weak appetite.
