BOTANICAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Helps soothe, support, and maintain healthy muscles, cartilage, joints, tendons, ligaments, and other tissue. This extract is excellent for long term or temporary use.
Use 5 - 15 drops, 1 - 2 dropperfuls, or as much as a teaspoon at a time. Dose frequency could be 1 - 3 times or several times a day as desired. Generally best to use large, frequent doses in acute situations. Sometimes when used in advance, results are better. When more comfort is achieved or the situation is less severe, doses can be smaller and less frequent. After several months of use, take a break. If necessary, change to a different set of herbs.
Do not use herbal products to replace necessary care by a qualified physician.
Boswellia Resin (Frankincense), Boswellia carteri, reg
Avoid during pregnancy. May cause gastrointestinal discomfort. Avoid with ulcerative colitis.
Turmeric Root, Curcuma longa, organic
Avoid during pregnancy or lactation. Avoid with bile duct obstruction, gallstones, hyperacidity, and stomach ulcers. Avoid with blood thinning medications.
Black Cohosh Root, Cimicifuga racemosa, wild crafted
Avoid during pregnancy or lactation. Limit use to 6 months.
Devils Claw Root, Harpagophytum procumbens, wild crafted
Avoid during pregnancy. Avoid with hyperacidity, esophageal reflux, or gastric or duodenal ulcers.
Ginger Root, Zingiber officinale, organic
Avoid with active gallstone disease. Avoid with blood thinning medication. May potentiate anti-platelet medication. Large doses may cause gastrointestinal disturbance. Excessive doses of preparations made from fresh Ginger root have been reported to cause dry mouth, sore throat, nosebleeds, and kidney inflammation.
Horsetail Herb, Equisitum arvense, wild crafted
Avoid during cardiac or kidney disease. Use with caution if diabetic and monitor blood sugar levels. May lead to thiamine deficiency. The herb in powdered form is not recommended for children or for prolonged use due to the inorganic silica content. Teas and extracts contain mainly organic silica in colloidal form so are not problematic in this regard.
Yarrow Flower, Achillea millefolium, organic
Avoid if allergic to members of the Asteraceae family (composites). Avoid during pregnancy. Avoid with pelvic inflammatory disease and excessive menstrual bleeding. With external use, immediate cessation of treatment is advised in the event of itching and inflammatory changes in the skin.
