The Sensual Mixture is made to set the mood for couples by promoting relaxation and stimulating the senses. It combines Clary Sage, Black Pepper, Ylang Ylang Extra, Jasmine Absolute, and Vetivert essential oils.
Clary Sage - relieves us of tension. As it calms the mind, it lifts us up mentally and emotionally creating the sense of euphoria for which it is well known. It grounds us at the same time that it enlivens us.
Tested at low dose relatively non-toxic, possible weak irritant, non-sensitizing. Very sedative, large dose can induce narcotic effect, cause headache. Avoid in pregnancy, with endometriosis, breast, ovarian, and uterine cysts, and other estrogen-dependent conditions.
Black Pepper - In the words of Wanda Sellar in her book The Directory of Essential Oils, Black Pepper "gives stamina where there is frustration, warms the heart where there is indifference." It is useful when there is frigidity and impotence.
Tested at low dose non-toxic, may be an irritant, may cause dermatitis. Large doses may irritate and may damage kidneys.
Ylang Ylang Extra - soothes and calms the heart. It, too, is helpful with frigidity and impotence. Gabriel Mojay, in his book Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit, writes "Instilling us with the sweetness of peaceful paradise - yet revealing the spice of a tropical sun - Ylang Ylang oil both soothes and entices, opens and centers us. It allows us to inwardly unify and so outwardly merge."
Tested at low dose non-toxic and non-irritant, possible sensitization. Do not use on inflamed skin or dermatitis conditions. Excess may lead to nausea and headache.
Jasmine - supports us when we're restless, anxious, and/or depressed. It is considered to be an aphrodisiac and sexual tonic, helping with frigidity and impotence. It restores the urogenital organs by warming and decongesting them.
Tested at low dose non-toxic, non-sensitizing. Avoid with skin sensitivities.
Vetivert - brings us back to our body's needs and has a grounding influence on an over-worked mind.

Fragrancing Air - Use several drops in an aromatherapy diffuser for house, car, or office.
Inhalation - Put a few drops on a tissue, in a bowl of hot water, on the front of a shirt, or on both sides of your pillow.
Sprays - Combine 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon for every ounce of distilled water used in a spray bottle.
Shake well before each use.
