  1. Our COMFREY BALM is a practical, useful, but also beautifying balm to the skin.  Comfrey Leaf and Root, infused in Olive Oil, make this product especially moisturizing.  Chapped lips, dry hands, rough cuticles, eczema, are eager recipients of the soothing, healing  comfort of this balm - and I wouldn't hesitate to use it on facial wrinkles. In addition to its emollient effect on skin,  Comfrey, along with essential oils of Yarrow, Carrot Seed, and Lavender, assists in healing wounds.  Scrapes, shallow cuts, burns, insect bites, stings, and bruises respond to the healing power of the ingredients in this balm. Comfrey's anti-inflammatory benefit allows for gentle massage of the balm into strained, sore muscles. Scars respond to this product also, but take note:  using this product during pregnancy or lactation is contraindicated.  If concerned about stretch marks, please use our Comfrey Balm prior to pregnancy to moisturize, tone, and make supple the skin in an effort to prevent stretch marks; and after lactation, to address any scarring. Comfrey Leaf and Root, Symphytum officinale, organic External use only is advised.  Contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids.  Avoid during pregnancy or lactation.  Avoid with a history of liver disease.  Limit use to 4 - 6 weeks per year. Yarrow, Achillea millefolium, naturally farmedAvoid during pregnancy, with babies, and with children. Carrot Seed, Daucus carota, naturally farmed Avoid during pregnancy.  Tested at low-dose, non-toxic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing.Lavender, Lavandula angustifolia, naturally farmedTested at low dose, non-toxic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing.
  2. CAYENNE BALM is heat-producing and deeply penetrating making it a potential remedy for tired, strained, pulled, inflamed, contracted, spasming, sore, and painful muscles.  Consisting of Cayenne Oleoresin and the essential oils of Ginger, Black Pepper, and White Camphor, the combined effect of the balm is to relax muscles in pain through heat as well as to reduce the brain's sensation of pain. Word of caution:  Please wash hands thoroughly after applying this balm.  The essential oils in it are concentrated and very irritating to sensitive skin areas such as the face.
  3. AROMATIC BALM This balm is indeed aromatic consisting of several very fragrant essential oils. Camphor White Fraction, Yellow Birch, Peppermint, Eucalyptus Globulus, Cinnamon Leaf, Cajeput, and Clove combined with Menthol Crystals make this balm at once heating and cooling in its application to sore, aching, painful muscles.  It can even be used for those leg and foot cramps that occasionally visit us during our sleep. Apart from use as a muscle remedy, it can be used to assist in breaking up congestion in the ears, nose, and chest.  Gentle external application downward behind the affected ear and down the side of the neck; gentle external application to the outer sides of the nose; or gentle application to the chest can help relieve congestion.  Thereby, it has the potential to reduce any infection developing in those areas.  This is a powerhouse combination of essential oils.  Please wash hands thoroughly after applying this balm.  The essential oils in it are very concentrated and contact on lips or near eyes is contraindicated.  There is potential for skin irritation and/or sensitization.  Avoid use on open wounds.  Avoid the product completely during pregnancy and lactation.  Avoid use with infants and small children.
